LicenseHub
The quiet machine that issues, renews and revokes the licences for the software sold here.
Offline licence keys signed with a key pair, an installation id per machine, expiries and seat counts, and a register of everything issued. A customer gets a key without a login on my server, because the check is cryptographic: the app validates the signature against a public key it ships with.
It also handles the part that usually goes wrong: rotating a key pair without invalidating every customer. The old public key stays valid while the new one is rolled out, old keys are re-issued, and a signed revocation list is published that the apps fetch. There is no download for this one - it holds private keys, so it stays on my side of the line.
- Signed keys per project, tied to an installation id, seats and an expiry.
- Renewals keep history; revoked keys carry a reason and are never re-issued silently.
- Key-pair rotation with an overlap window and a published, signed revocation list.
- Used by KlantUren today; adding a product is one entry, not a new system.
