Ondographics
A music player with a room full of visualisers and an OBS overlay.
It started as a YouTube Music desktop client that survives Windows Smart App Control, and that constraint still shapes it: it launches the stock Electron binary, loads no native modules and puts no script in the launch path, so it starts on machines where other unsigned apps are blocked outright. Around that player it grew a hub: Audius, Jamendo and the Internet Archive are browsed as one library with no account anywhere, next to YouTube and YouTube Music.
There are two builds, and the difference is one feature. Ondographics is the
public build. Ondographics Local is the one on this page: it keeps yt-dlp and
ffmpeg beside the app, so YouTube can play inside the hub's own player and a song can be saved to
a folder. yt-dlp is fetched on first use (about 17 MB from the official release) because a copy
frozen into an installer stops working the week YouTube changes; point
sources.ytDlpPath at your own copy to skip that, or turn it off and the other
catalogues still work.
- OBS overlay at
127.0.0.1:9863/overlay: ten styles, ten palettes, eleven visualiser shapes, width slider. - Twitch song requests through EventSub or OBS, with a queue that says who asked and what plays next.
- Discord rich presence, global media keys, taskbar controls, now-playing notifications, resume where you were.
- Session import from the old app through Chromium's own cookie API, then the JSON is deleted again.
