Tapp The Button
He is a button with an ad stapled to him. One press a day enters the giveaway; switch him to idle and that press pays coins instead. Under the meadow there is an endless dungeon, and the gold you carry out becomes coins.
- Daily coin. One press a day enters the giveaway, so the ad on his back pays for something you might actually win.
- Idle pays instead. Flip him to idle and that same press turns into coins, steadily, while the page sits open.
- The Undercroft. Beneath the meadow is an endless dungeon: carry gold out of it and it becomes shop money.
- Chest and shop. Spend coins on the things a button with a hat actually needs, and open the chest when it is due.
Seven years in the making
Tapp has been an idea of mine for seven years, and it kept growing the whole time. It nearly did not get made at all: for three of those years an investor who turned out not to be real kept me waiting on a deal that was never coming.
So I built it myself. The ideas, the character and every decision are mine; AI is the power tool that let one person make the whole thing. With both together, a button with an ad stapled to him became a game you can play right now.
